First of all, a happy New Year's to you all! May the new year bring you joy~
I've been busy with various things these past couple of months and thought it was about time to share a little update.
Ko-fi and other Socials
I’ve started a Ko-fi page! If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s, like Patreon, a platform where fans can support their favorite creators. I used to have a PayPal donation link in the sidebar, but thought I’d formalize things a little bit. This also means that I can offer updates and other exclusive goodies over there, such as behind-the-scenes updates on what I’m working on and other lore dumps about the blog and myself. And sneak-peaks, of course.
I may even end up selling some merchandise over there one day. We’ll just have to see how everything develops! If you enjoy my work and would like to support me, you can find my page here. If you sign up for a monthly membership, you’ll also earn a spot on my new Supporters page!
I’m thinking that I’ll try to keep non-art related posts, such as status updates, behind-the-scenes content, etc. on the Ko-fi page, so that the blog itself doesn’t get too cluttered with all that if you’re not interested in that side of it.
I’ve also reactivated my Bluesky account where I’ll be notifying you of any updates on the Ko-fi page and when I release new poems here.
Quick Update on the Poetry Collection
I’ve previously talked a bit about the direction and progress of everyone has fucked up pasts, but a couple of things have changed since then. The overall idea is the same, but I mentioned in my last post that I’d be including “Behind the Poem” sections for each included poem. I’ve decided to change things up a bit and go a bit more freeform, so to speak.
There’ll still be partial reflections for some of the poems, but I’ve decided to focus more on the overall feel and aesthetic of the collection, and am taking it in a bit of an artsy direction with lots of bonus content between the poems. This new content ranges from various other artistic works of mine to “atmospheric additions”. I’d love to elaborate, but I’m saving that for a sneak-peak on the Ko-fi page in the near future, so stay tuned for that.
Additionally, I’ve written a couple of poems that will remain exclusive to the collection, at least for now. I’m very excited to showcase them!
As for progress on the book, there’s still some way to go, but I’ve been making steady progress and am really proud of all the extra content I’ve added so far. I want to ensure that everything plays together perfectly in the end, as I’m a bit of a perfectionist, but I promise that it’ll be out as soon as I’m satisfied with it. I don’t wanna give a specific time horizon, but I’d very much like to release it before the end of 2026.
